School Party!

Alex's preschool had their Halloween party today (yes... ON Halloween instead of 6 days before like our Trick or Treat!). It was precious. Alex's class had 2 pirates (one complete with eye patch), a cowboy, Winnie the Pooh, Minnie Mouse, an angel, a Penn State cheerleader, a turtle, a witch, a monkey and a slew of princesses. Moments like Halloween make me thankful we do not have girls!! Here are some of the more adorable moments....

Can you think of anything cuter than a nose-pickin princess? Well, I can think of a few things.
Two witches, a kangaroo, Minnie Mouse.... and a crying turtle, crying cheerleader and royally pissed off cowboy.
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!
Halloween parade... Alex took off his kangaroo ears so he could more fully appreciate his time with Minnie Mouse. I watched a teacher make them hold hands. I don't care. It's still cute!

Rachel Got Married!!!

Our dear friend from college, Rachel (finally) married John. :) Anyway, it was a gorgeous day in Maryland, she looked killer in her dress and our boys wore adorable matching outfits. We took a TON of pictures and videos, so this will be done in few blog entries.
Here is an shot of the fam. Daddy was talking while the picture was being taken, but this one of the best. You can't have it all when you have a toddler and a baby!!
This shot was on the balcony of the resort. The wedding took place inside overlooking the mountains and the lake. I highly recommend this place. It was gorgeous!

Alex enjoyed hearing his voice in the wind!
Daddy with Alex and Evan.
Mommy and her lads. Unfortunately, none of the pics of me and my boys turned out that well.
Enjoying the view! Alex was mid-jump.

More Wedding (The Reception)

Look at our big man drinking from his water glass. (He was really fishing for ice, but he looks so handsome in this shot!)

Evan, a little concerned by the bagpiping, but no tears!
Rachel seated us in the corner. Wise move! Here are Mommy, Alex, Evan and "Auntie" Melissa.
Alex cracks up at Delia. Immediately after this picture, they got in a very toddleresque fight about what french fries were called.
No party including toddlers would be complete without a little floor time. Here we are pushing cars! That is Alex laying down and Leo, Delia and Melissa.

Alex... Dancing Machine!

On the Lips

Alex loves his pets. First, a smash-hug....

And then a kiss on the lips....

Trick or Treat!!

Trick Or Treat!

Tonight was our Trick or Treat! It was a BLAST.

We decided to have Daddy walk with us this year and we put out a big basket of candy on our porch to just have the kids help themselves. We just believe that when our munchkins are this young, it is important for both Mom and Dad to be with the little men.

Alex was a kangaroo and Evan was a bumblebee. Killer cute!
Here is Mommy with her two little guys....

Look at these cuties! Alex, Evan, Austin, Brittany and Ian. Hard to get everyone to smile at the same time!

Daddy and our little Joey...

The bumblebee just was all buzzed out by the end of the night.

Stella and her boys...

We know we write this all the time, but we are totally impressed with how Stella loves her boys. If you have children and are looking for a good family dog, consider a Ridgeback!
Alex's two favorite things are his mower and his puppy. When he has them both, he is in heaven. He sits down beside Stella, pets her and says, "Awww. So cute!" And they are!

I put Evan down in his crib to play while I folded some laundry. And when I came back, there Stella was staring at him. I think she was a bit offended that he was by himself.

Toddlerism

Alex told me today, "My ears sparkle when I'm in Daddy's car." Translation anyone?

Puppy Girls

It is SO nice to have a yard! We have about an acre and the dogs love every minute of it (as do the boys!). Sometimes we let the dogs out and they don't do much, but collapse on that wonderful grass! Here are Sophie and Stella doing their Dead Dog impersonation....
