Splash Down!

Today, we spent the day at Splash Down, a water park in Virginia. It was so fun watching the boys since they have no fear of water and just enjoyed every minute of it! Here, Daddy and Evan go down the slide. At the bottom. Evan is cracking up!

The Tilley Reunion

The Tilley clan gets together every year. This year, we met at Susan's in Maryland. The brave camped out in tents the first night. Then we slowly trickled inside to sleep as the humidity went up every night.

Both Aidan and Patrick got stung by bees. Here, Nurse Mary takes care of them. Later, they snuggled up together and took a nice long nap post-Benadryl. Someone needs to send me those pictures! Cuteness!

Oops! Rain at the Reunion!

We were cleaning up outside and the clouds opened! Lisa, Drew, Don and Mark got stuck under the tent. An opportunity to bond, I guess.

So what did everyone else do while it rained? Bob and Alicia played a game of air hockey.
Aidan stayed asleep after the attack of the killer bees.
And Howie enjoyed a cute nap on the stage.

Craft Time!

Sunday morning of the family reunion was craft time! All the kids (young and young at heart) made either sun magnets or turtle fans. Here are Alex and Taylor hard at work.

Bowling!

We went bowling the day after the "official" family reunion. Bette's gang was all still there so we had another mini-reunion.

Day at Delgrossos!

We are lucky enough to have a couple of amusement parks within 20 minutes of us. We decided to start our vacation early and spend a day at Delgrossos with a coworker of Drew's and her family. We had so much fun that we forgot to take pictures.

But here is the last picture first.... Alex fell asleep in the car on the way home. We put him to bed at 5:30 and he didn't wake up until 7 the next morning! Obviously, the day was perfect!

Alex willingly rode anything! I was amazed at his lack of fear. He started out on the kiddy roller coaster and just moved up from there. Here are Daddy and Alex before the ride!

Evan says, "Let me in there!" He wanted to ride too, but he is so much of a monkey that we worried he'd try to climb out of the rides.
This is Evan's speed! He kept glancing at the horses saying, "Awww!" So we decided to go for it. He thought it was fun!
There is a water park at Delgrossos too. We had to get out of the water for a while due to a passing storm. I got Evan dressed and he was not happy that he was back in the stroller. Here he is giving me dirty looks and I think even trying to kick me!

Evan

Our little Evan is just a ham. He smiles for the camera, is super silly and is constantly on the go. We thought Alex was tough to follow!

Nothing can hold this boy in. I'm not sure how much longer we can keep him in his crib. Alex never tried to climb out. But I have a strong feeling Evan will. Here he is irritated that I've put a gate between him and the dog bowls!

yes, more zoo!

Alex gave up naps, so I don't have as much time during the day to get online and blog or play in any other way! It's a bit sad all around. But I still have zoo pictures to put up! Here are some more!

The lions were all snuggly even though it was a hot day. The paw in the right of the picture is actually the female.

They reshuffle and you can now see them both.
The elephants get really close to you! They were enjoying their day. You can see the one in the back left just got out of the mud.

The boys enjoy a view of the monkeys. And I'm sure the monkeys enjoyed the view of our monkeys!
